Election Delay

Dear Owner,

This notice provides an update regarding the annual board election. We ask that you read this message in its entirety. 

The election was postponed due to questions which arose during the meeting concerning the authenticity of a handful of the signed proxies submitted at the meeting. The association’s attorney has since reviewed the proxies. In order to ensure transparency and authenticity of the process, steps are being taken to correct any possible discrepancies and to ensure all owners understand how the proxy works and how to properly fill one out if you chose to give your proxy to another person.

Due to the influx of questions regarding proxies, we would like to share the following with you.

• The proxy serves two purposes:

1. to grant another person the authority to vote on your behalf on any matter being voted on at the meeting, and 

2. to help establish a quorum at the meeting. 

• If you prefer not to have another person vote for you, you may check the box at the bottom of the proxy form. This will still allow the designated person to use your ballot for quorum purposes only, not for voting on your behalf. 

• If you choose to allow the designated person to vote for you, please note that they cannot vote differently for you than they will for themselves. Therefore, please ensure that you trust this person to represent your voting preferences. 

• If you attend the meeting, the proxy is automatically voided as you will be present to cast your own vote. 

• Once you have given someone your proxy, you may revoke it for any reason by submitting a written request or by revoking it in person at the meeting.

• All proxies should be signed with wet ink and the box next to the designee should be checked with wet ink.

The election portion of the meeting is being recalled for January 22nd, 2026. A new packet with further details will be mailed to each owner prior to the new meeting date.
